RSO Dosing Guide

Dosing Suggestions for Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) Phoenix Tears
Whole plant cannabis oil, which includes Rick Simpson Oil, not only possesses a bitter and unrefined earthy taste, it will also remind people of chlorophyll. At the outset, the best thing for you and the best way to take it is to tack a dosage on your lower gum line, while letting it dissolve on its own in a couple minutes. Once your dosage increases, your taste buds will become more accepting of the cannabis oil and make it easier to take your meds. One rule of thumb is to realize that cannabis oil that is concentrated is a hugely potent medication. Great care must be taken, which includes never to take more than the recommended dosage until you are positively certain you know how RSO affects you.
Don't be dissuaded into using RSO despite knowing that the average person will take about 3 months (90 days) to ingest the complete 60 ml oil treatment or the full 60-gram option.
The recommended early dosing involves 3 doses/day with each dose being about the size of a half a grain of short grained dry rice. The patient will then take this dosage every 8 hours. This includes: early in the morning, once again in the afternoon and the final dose of each day typically an hour before bedtime. Something to note, is that as a patient starts taking the oil, they will not normally feel the oil's effect until about an hour after they've taken the dosage. For a comparison, about 1/4 of a drop would be a beginner's dosage.
After four days of three doses a day, most patients are able to increase their doses by doubling the dosage amount every four days. In utilizing this easy-to-follow regimen, the majority of patients actually responded that they did not experience a high that the oil usually causes. However, users must realize that not everybody is built the same and some will have different and much higher tolerances to allow them a 2x dosage change. Don't be alarmed however, as if an individual actually does experience a "high" this will not usually harm them; as long as the oil was properly made. This is particularly true if the oil that's being taken was made from sedative Indica-dominant strains as opposed to heady sativa strains.
An average person takes anywhere from 3-5 weeks to get to the point they can take 1 gram or 1 ml of oil/day. When patients achieve this dosage, they can continue at this rate until individual medical issues are brought under control. At this point, patients will primarily build a tolerance for ingesting the oil, making it much simpler to consume larger quantities at a time.
